This case study is an illustrative scenario built from the kind of multi-channel retail work we do — not a specific named client. We’ll publish real, named client stories here as they go live.
Multi-Channel Retailer — Synced 3 sales channels into one order flow
The Challenge
A retailer selling through its own ecommerce store, a marketplace, and wholesale accounts was managing each channel's orders separately, with inventory manually adjusted across systems to avoid overselling. Order status was inconsistent from channel to channel, and customer service had no single place to look up an order.
The Solution
We implemented NetSuite as the unified order management hub, connecting the ecommerce platform and marketplace via integration middleware so every order — regardless of channel — flows into one fulfillment process with shared, real-time inventory. Channel-specific pricing and fulfillment rules were configured without splitting the underlying data.
The Results
All 3 sales channels now share one real-time inventory pool
Overselling incidents eliminated after go-live
Customer service can look up any order, from any channel, in one place
"Overselling across channels almost always comes down to inventory living in more places than it should. Collapsing that down to one source of truth is most of the fix."
